I love the idea of The Flynn effect and how the increase in height and improvement in IQ scores may be due to mixing of more diverse genetic material. I think it’s also referred to as hybrid vigour or Heterosis.

In a diverse population therefore the corollary to this observation is a group which only reproduces among a similar genetic population would tend shorter and do less well on IQ tests in comparison to the rest of the population?

This may go some way to explaining some of the people I saw at the reclaim Australia rally on the weekend.

A flying elephant is surprisingly more air-worthy than the comedy blimp. And doesn't catch fire nearly as often.
