I'm so glad for the review of book two of Tchaikovsky, book one (sorry Greg) was meh. I did like the character Porsche a narrative was so slow and for me it didn't really go anywhere. The concept, I agree was out there and fun. Just didn't and doesn't have enough to read past book 1. Each to their own I guess

I so wanted to this and post and correct some grammatical errors and/or edit/delete post option doesn't seem to work, anyway I think the idea is there, hoping you understand what I was getting at, the first book was fun but slow imho, Natashas brutal, of honest, opinion of the second book that is really isn't worth reading cements my thought to leave it at book 1.
Do want to say thanks though Greg, this, the first book, is a book I would have never normally have considered a read of, as such you have expanded my literary catalog which I appreciate even though I don't have the passion for it that you do. With this said im so appreciative of being introduced to "The Sparrow' that was a wonderful yarn of a book

Always a pleasure to listen to these bookclub podcasts, Congratulations on the appointment as Associate professor (never Ass Pro) and looking forward to the next one, where you will once again mention with effusive praise Peter Watts Blindsight but not review it.
