Another great show, the introductions are always fun when you divert into rage inducting topics (see COVID response). I imagine a similar roar when the January 2023 Cochrane Review 'Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses' is raised. (Yes I know there is sufficient evidence to confirm masks works, but publishing this review did not help).
I always raise a smile when I hear the opening bars of the crytozoo theme.
But for all the discussion of how Rayleigh scattering rending the sky blue don't forget as Phil Plait of the Bad Astronomer "combined with a lack of violet photon receptors in our retinae"

In a new work office, which whenever I hear the air-conditioning turn I get a frisson of delight as it makes exactly the same sound as the opening recording of Smart Enough to Know Better podcast. It is immediately followed by the realisation 'no not a new episode'.

I think you'll find that Nambia uses the metric system. Namibia is a country in Africa in the south west. It borders South Africa. Liberia is a country in West Africa which does use the imperial system. #WalkOfShame
