once again BRAVO! a thoroughly engaging episode. Am I alone in cheering the thought that the 'developed' massively disproportionality energy consuming countries of the world are facing a demographic cliff due to reproduction rates. Doubly delicious that much of this is being driven by woman have gained a say in their choices. I'd like to say this is a reason why the US A's Republican party are winding back women's choices but misogyny never needs a reason.

It's been interesting listening to a number of american-based podcasts talking up the value of children and how they'll be needed to prop up the large percentage of elderly. It makes me think - we don't need more humans (feel free to have humans, I'm not against you wanting to make humans), we need a system that doesn't rely on endless growth, and therefore an always growing population.
