Have not finished listening, but I also dislike my full name. The only time someone calls be by my full name is when they are mad at me (and they are a direct relative).
My shortened name is very common, but the full version is not (just one of the reasons I hate it, it was spelled out in full on my job badge and I did find amusement with how many persons were not able to pronounce it correctly). Many people try to guess the full name, and they are always wrong. Usually the conversation goes like this:
Me: Hello my name is Chris xxxx, I would like to make reservations for yyy.
Other person: Okay, is "Chris" short for "Chriszzzzzzzzzz."
Me: No, you may call me Chris xxxx.
End of "name" conversation. I mean who needs a full legal name to make dinner reservations!
(side note: my name was actually misspelled by the nurse on my birth certificate, my father actually wanted an even more freaky spelling... I wish there was some way I could thank that nurse!)

It says a lot that you decided to not write your full name in the post. I'll guess at 'Chrisgensonsten'.

Nice try. :-)
